Mike Goldfarb - A&R

Mike is the creator of Talent Nation and master artist developer. He’s responsible for launching several music careers, including that of Carlie Hanson, who has accumulated over 60M+ streams since bursting onto the scene and who is now scheduled to open on Troye Sivan’s ‘Bloom’ tour.


Adrian X - Musician/Producer

Adrian X is a Grammy Award winning songwriter, producer and world touring musician. He’s also deeply affiliated with OVO. For those who are not familiar, that is Drake’s record label and one of the most recognizable brands in the music industry. Need we say more?


Marla Joy - Vocal/Performance Coach

Marla Joy is a world renowned artist, singer, songwriter and performer. She’s toured with the likes of Prince & Mary J Blige and now uses her extensive industry experience to coach some of the top emerging artists in the game, like social media sensation Johnny Orlando.


Patrick Toppings - Streaming Strategist

Patrick’s experience includes key positions at Universal Music and Outside Music, one of Canada’s largest independent record labels. He's a specialist when it comes to driving playlist support, features and marketing opportunities for artists on large platforms like Spotify & Apple Music.


Liz Lokre - Singer/Songwriter

Liz has been writing and performing performing professionally since the tender age of 12. Her incredible vocals and musicianship are beginning to make waves globally, not to mention, she already has 3 hits to her name, totalling over 700,000 streams on Spotify combined.


Toito - Singer/Songwriter

TOITO is a veteran singer/songwriter who was first discovered at a Talent Nation showcase in Toronto. Since then, he has collaborated with many notable artists and producers, all while collecting over 600,000 streams on his debut smash singles “Fool” & “Lights On”.



The Art of Songwriting & Recording (12:00PM – 2:00PM):

We’ve enlisted some of the most accomplished songwriters, producers and top liners in the game to examine today’s chart topping hits in order to help breakdown the various methods used to develop proper lyrical structure, melodies and catchy hooks. 

We’ll also examine the latest recording technology and techniques to help you achieve the best results, both in studio or at home!

Vocal & Performance Bootcamp (2:30PM - 4:30PM):

Of course, to record a quality song, your voice needs to be in excellent form. That’s why we’ve turned to A-list vocal coaches to lead a series of challenging drills and exercises that will put your skills to the test!

The second half of this segment focuses on performance; offering you hands-on guidance with delivery, technique and overall stage presence. Whether you’re getting ready for a big audition or live show, our movement coaches will demonstrate the most comprehensive methods to help you stand out on stage.

Promoting Your Music & Brand (5:00PM – 6:30PM):

You’ve written and recorded an amazing song and now you want the whole world to hear it… but, if you're not up to speed on how to use streaming platforms like Spotify & Apple Music to grow your audience and listenership, then you're setting yourself up for failure.

Online streaming has become the number one source for consuming music, so we've invited professional strategists to show you how to use social media and playlists to support your next hit single!


Songwriting Session (9:00AM - 1:00PM):

Music Summit is dedicated to developing and fostering emerging songwriters and producers. This is your chance to collaborate with other likeminded artists and craft an original song from scratch, mentored by a team of hit songwriters to help navigate the creative process.

Parents Q&A (9:00AM - 10:00AM):

For any young artist, tackling the music business can sometimes be an intimidating and complicated task. Since parents are typically the first individuals in charge of overseeing their child’s career, we’re inviting all “momagers” and “dadagers” to interact with our faculty on important subject matter that will surely provide a clearer perspective on how to safely navigate the music business.

Listening Session (2:00PM - 4:00PM):

At the conclusion of the writing sessions, each group will take the stage to perform a sample of their collaborative efforts in front of our industry panel for constructive feedback on originality, musicality, style, presentation, lyrical structure and composition.

Live Showcase (5:00PM - 7:00PM):

Pre-selected participants will have the opportunity to showcase their own original material in hopes of generating interest from a panel of industry creatives (songwriters, producers, publishers, etc.) who can help develop your song idea into a professionally recorded masterpiece!
