Scheduled throughout the year, we are thrilled to introduce a series of interactive workshops and industry panels that is committed to the growth and development of independent music artists.
Currently being offered in the city of Toronto. Dates TBD.
Led by a panel of renowned coaches, our vocal workshop offers participants hands-on development and constructive feedback on overall technique and delivery. Whether you’re preparing for a live show or recording session, get ready to walk away with the tools you need to reach their true vocal potential.
Participants are divided into small groups, based on age and experience. Each group is led by a music mentor, there to guide participants as they join forces to write and compose an original song from scratch.
At the conclusion of the session, each group will showcase their collaborative efforts in front of a live panel of accomplished hitmakers for constructive feedback on melodies, lyrical content and structure. Members of the most standout groups will have the chance to perform original songs from their own individual catalogues for future recording / collaboration opportunities with our panel.
The music landscape is evolving every day, thanks in large part to the emergence of social media and streaming as the two main sources of discovering music.
A panel of experts from all corners of the industry will go in depth on the current state of the digital realm, offering valuable insight and tips on how to independently build your personal brand — using social media and streaming to your competitive advantage.
Whether you're gearing up to enter a singing competition or hoping to perform in a music festival and/or tour, there is such thing as "audition etiquette" and we look forward to offering you all the tips and tricks to help you land your next big opportunity.
In addition, for those participants who want to make a better impression on camera (including interviews, photoshoots, music videos, red carpets, etc.), our panel of media experts will demonstrate how to "work it" like a professional, all while staying true to your brand.
For any young artist starting out, the music industry can be quite complex to navigate — most especially for parents of artists, who are typically the first ones in charge of managing their child’s career. Here we welcome all “mom-agers” and “dad-agers” to interact with our faculty on important subject matter that will look to offer clearer perspective on the inner workings of record labels, talent managers, copyright organizations, etc. and who / what to avoid in the process.
